For creatives, introverts, & bibliophiles

bitten by the travel bug

There are a lot of travel blogs out there, where you’ll find gorgeous landscape photography and valuable tips for every kind of excursion. While these are beautiful and helpful, there is so much to travel that is lost in a picture: the sounds, the smells, the way a place makes you feel. Truly, the only way to capture all five senses in a single format is written description. Through a meditative process of engaging all five senses, I write creative prose accounts of my travels to experience them to the fullest and share them with you in the form of a story.

About me

My name is Becca. I’m a creative entrepreneur with far too many hobbies—including traveling, photography, fine art, reading, writing, board games, acroyoga, and social dancing. I own a graphic design business (Fabelle Creative Co.) and am the author of A Whitewashed Tomb, a dystopian novel about forgiveness. You can find my photography and creative writing classes on Skillshare, and art prints on my sister website, rebeccaloomis.com.

Travel Background

I was homeschooled growing up, which made it easier for my family to travel together, and I had left the country multiple times by the time I went to college. From sixteen onward, I bounced from state to state and discovered countless wonders that expanded my understanding of the world and humanity. Now, my nomadic feet keep me wandering, searching for more truths and creative inspiration.

Author & Artist

As a storyteller and creative professional, it is instinctive for me to express my travel experiences through the art of writing and drawing. I hope you enjoy my descriptive prose and destination-inspired artwork!

Travel companions

I’ve combined some anti-anxiety mindfulness practices I’ve developed through journaling, a love for all things library, and my graphic design background to develop travel companions that help you to quickly capture memory cues and fully engage with your senses while on your own journey.
